Asia building renovations
A group of 2 workers went to Europe May 25-31 2026. The Project is to help Jonathan Peck (MPB Page 17, 2025) with an renovation of a facility in preparation for the meeting space..
Location: Europe.
Project Description: Renovationg New Building.
The work will involve the following types of skills:
- Finishing work on the new building project.
- Setting plumbing fixtures (bathrooms, kitchens etc.)
- Setting electrical fixtures.
- Final wall plastering.
- Tiling of floors (must be very skilled).
- Wood trim on doors windows.
- Painting of walls and ceilings.
- installed new stairs and helped with training staff to do work.

Mid Asia Day 1 May 23, 2026.
Prince and I arrived here near midnight Friday night and got to bed around 2 am. Saturday we surveyed the work and then tackled some demolition jobs removing a difficult wood and concrete wall base plate between two rooms now made one. Also removed a heavy steel security cage to a room to be repurposed from a vault to a bathrooom. Then we prepped a door for removal and relocation to another wall.
Mid Asia Day 2 May 24, 2026
Had wonderful day, lunch with those workers here. In the afternoon and evening got to see some of the city and the central market and bazaar.
Day 4 May 26, 2026
Collected and cut metal for stairs and landing in front of kitchen door. A decision was made to go with metal and wood rather than cement blocks. We then moved all the blocks out of the way and dug footers for support posts. Then mixed concrete and poured the footers. Lastly we did some Sheetrock
Mid Asia Day 5, May 27, 2026
More cutting and welding for stairs, spackling and prepping for door placement. National holiday so no one around to help get materials. Both Prince an I got terrible sore throats and colds so stopped work early.
Mid Asia Day 6, May 28, 20026
Both of us felt better and were able to get to store to get supplies. Wood studs are so expensive we switched to steel. Worked on closing hole in wall where we removed a door and then framed for new door in other wall. Also filled in trench from old living room wall.
Day 7, May 29, 2026 and home
Day 7. Got an early start to work on steps and platform for kitchen door and worked til late finishing the tread supports so they could install wood decking and treads as well as railing. Finished spackling the Sheetrock we had worked on.
Left for airport at 11:30 pm and headed home praising God for a productive, safe, and encouraging time (high point was Sunday morning services and daily 9:00 prayer meeting with local team).
